The following general Terms & Conditions shall apply exclusively to the business relationship between LobangBids.com and our users on the date of use.
Any special promotions presented by LobangBids.com shall only be valid if they are announced on LobangBids.com's website, newsletters or any other marketing materials. We reserve the right to cancel any auction at any given time.
Registration and Disqualification
Only persons aged 18 and above may use the website to place bids, be it free or premium auctions. Only one user registration per household is permitted. During the registration process, the user must choose a user name and the associated password should be kept secret by the user. Any abuse of the user account shall inevitably result in the disqualification of the user and the report of a crime. The user is liable for all activities that are undertaken using the registered user account and password.
LobangBids.com is free at any time to disqualify the user. Users will be disqualified when, in the reasonable opinion of LobangBids.com, a member has violated statutory provisions or the rights of third parties. A disqualification can also occur if LobangBids.com has found misuse and/or dishonest behaviour, in particular, but not limited to unauthorised bidding software usage, using multiple user accounts created by the same user, etc. LobangBids.com reserves the right in its absolute discretion to not accept users or to disqualify users from using all services found on LobangBids.com and is not liable for lost value or trouble caused by its users breaking these Terms & Conditions. Each account is non-transferable, and will result in termination if found to be so.
Bidding Rights
Bidding rights, have to be purchased by users prior to online bidding, unless the said auctions allow free bidding. Only registered users can pay for online bids, which can be purchased in packages at the mentioned price. The bids must be paid for in advance, and we do not entertain credit bidding. When the bids are purchased, they will be deposited directly into the user account, and they are non-refundable and may not be exchanged. If a user is suspended, all of the bids may not refunded, which will depend on the sole discretion of LobangBids.com.
Payment can only be made through PayPal balance. All charges are in Singapore dollars.
Should a payment not be honored for a user, a returned payment fee will be charged. Only the user shall be responsible for these fees. We reserve the right to block access to the user account until full payment is paid.
Bidding / Autobidder
For online bidding, an individual bid can be submitted by clicking, or the "autobidder" can be used. Once a bid is submitted, it will be deducted from the user's account accordingly.
A bid is registered and counted when our system receives the bid order. A bid is only placed when your username is reflected as the latest bidder. It usually takes a few seconds for Lobangbids.com to receive the bid and it may take even longer if the system is under high stress or when there is a network delay. LobangBids.com strives to make the bid clock as accurate as possible; however we are not liable for any delays that may arise due to network delays, acts of God, and/or any other factors that are beyond our control.
Users are advised to place a bid in advance, and not to place a bid in the remaining seconds. All bids are final and non-refundable, unless when an auction fails to meet the reserve price. When this situation occurs, all placed bids will be refunded, and no additional bids will be given.
Users are advised to use the "autobidder" responsibly. The settings can be made at anytime during the auction.
Premium Auctions
With a bid is submitted, the price of the item on which the user is bidding increases by the amount specified. Each new bid resets the "Countdown time" for the auction. The countdown time for each of the auctions is shown in the auction details. The auction ends when no more bids are submitted within the remaining time stated. The user who is the last to bid wins the auction. All other bids on the item expire and will not be refunded. The last bidder is determined based on the records in our database, and we reserve the right to decide who is the final winner in the event of an conflict.
Sometimes the time may differ from our servers to our users' web browsers. A user's timer should therefore only be viewed as an indication of the auction time. The possible time difference may be caused by a slow internet connection, or an old web browser. That means that the browser may show zero even when there is time remaining on the auction. This does not mean that the auction is over.
LobangBids.com is not responsible for disruptions in the user's connection and errors that may occur. This includes, but is not limited to, incorrect count-down of the remaining time, outdated information on bidders, and bids. We reserve the right to pause all auctions, change the bidding time of on-going auctions and open closed auctions on suspicion of disruptions during operations.
Free Auctions
Each user can submit an unlimited number of bids for free auctions. However, the Terms & Conditions for free auctions shall apply as per premium auctions. The only difference is that no paid bids will be deducted from the user account.
Won Auctions
If you are the highest bidder, you have 7 working days to make your payment to receive the product you bid on. If you have not paid by that time, your right to purchase the item will be deemed null and void and we may terminate your account. Additionally, we reserve the rights to award the next highest bidder the product in the event you fail to meet the said term as per outlined earlier.
On certain occasions, LobangBids.com may not be able to source for items in the auctions. When this happens, we will contact you and offer you an item of at least the same value. You can also opt for 100% cash trade-in. See clause below.
Trade-in
If you wish to trade-in your won items for bids, you are free to do so. The trade-in bids value will be the value outlined in the auction details. Each item has a different trade-in value to that of the actual value of the product. Once the decision is made for bids trade-in, you are not allowed to change your decision again. This would mean that you cannot have the product once you opt for bids trade-in.
A 100% trade-in value is only valid when
1. the product that you bid for is out of stock
2. it is mentioned in the auctions for specific items
Winning Limits
We reserve the right to set the winning limits for each user for each day, week and month.
Delivery of Products
You are allowed to indicate the specific delivery date and time. However, should you be not available on your indicated date and time, and request LobangBids.com to deliver the product(s) again on a separate delivery date and time, a delivery charge of S$10 will be imposed. Alternatively, you may authorise someone who is above the age of 18 to receive the item on your behalf.
For some of the auction products, we have to purchase them directly from the retailers after the auctions are won, and have them sent to your location at the specific delivery date and time. We are not held responsible for any events such as, but not limited to, delays, accidents, acts of God, that may occur as a result of third-parties deliveries.
No deliveries will be made to any location outside Mainland Singapore.
For international users, the delivery of the Amazon eGift cards will be made through email.
Product Servicing
LobangBids does NOT practice any 1 to 1 exchange as all new articles are sold with the manufacturer's limited warranty. All requests for service and technical support must be made to the manufacturer subject to their terms and conditions.
System Failure / Outage
There is no guarantee that the system will function without any failure or fault. However LobangBids.com is committed to ensure that the system function properly at all times.
LobangBids.com schedules system maintenance and other purposes. In the event of a system outage or failure, LobangBids.com reserves the right to modify any auction, and all such modifications shall be solely at our discretion. All decisions are final. LobangBids.com also reserves the right to decide on whether to refund the bids that were placed during the affected auctions. LobangBids.com shall have no liability for any loss of data or transactions caused by theses planned or unplanned system failures or outages.
Limitation Of Liability / Disclaimer
You agree that LobangBids.com is not liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of any user. If you are dissatisfied with any materials on the website, or with any of LobangBids.com Terms & Conditions, you reserve the right to discontinue using LobangBids.com.
We also disclaim any responsibility and liability to any person or entity for any direct or indirect loss, damages, injuries, claims or other causes of any kind based upon the information or opinions provided on this website.
While the information contained on this website has been compiled in good faith, no representation or warranty is made as to its accuracy, adequacy or completeness. LobangBids.com makes no commitment to update or correct or to provide notice as to any error or omission in any of the information contained on this website. LobangBids.com reserves the right to add, modify or delete information on this website at any time.
